Industry 4.0, what is it exactly?

The industry 4.0 refers to industrial processes and technologies, which allow interaction and communication with all stakeholders in a production process. The 4.0 term is full of meaning: we are in the middle of the fourth industrial revolution, similar to the emergence of the steam engine, the electricity and the electronic in the industry.

Acting as a catalyst for innovation and a new market dynamics, one can observe the emergence of smart factories in which machines, production sites and production processes exchange information continuously.
