HIKOB INSTANT SYSTEMS
HIKOB latest generation systems offer:

The signal processing is carried out at the nearest of the measuring point and embedded on the sensors based on advanced algorithms that integrate the low-power logic. HIKOB data acquisition system includes a robust, wireless, multilayer data transport process deployed at each level of the data acquisition chain (sensor, gateway, cloud platform) to ensure the maximum reliability. The gateway, head of the HIKOB network, controls the communication on the network and makes available all the data coming from the network of sensors.
HIKOB radio network relies on the free 2.4 GHz ISM frequency band, which offers several communication channels to HIKOB equipment’s, reinforcing the robustness of exchanges to address the risk of disturbances.
The FTDMA (Frequency Time Division Multiple Access) mechanism offers a multiplexing of both time and frequency, providing an additional guarantee of communication fluidity and robustness.
Based on an IEEE 802.15.4.E communication stack, HIKOB radio network main features are self-organization and self-healing of communication paths. No manual pairing or configuration has to be carried for the equipment’s to communicate with one another. HIKOB network bidirectionality makes it possible to have two-way exchanges with onsite devices, to update them and to collect in real time their state and that of the radio link.
The ease of integration takes place also through the system connectivity to all types of Internet protocol networks:
- Ethernet network,
- Cellular telecommunications networks (GPRS / 3 / 4G),
- Long range M2M communication solutions (base frequency and low power transmission) such as LoRa and Sigfox.
Integration with all types of equipment / onsite PLCs (traffic light controllers, lighting controllers, parking terminals, electric vehicle charging stations …):
